Weekend 2.0

Man, it's been long time since last time I posted, well anyway. My friend Alex was staying this weekend at our house, and we are having pretty awesome time! (: On friday we went to movies with guys, Alex and John went to see silent house(what is a scary movie/thriller) What I heard wasn't so good, because it missed the plot line, but like Alex says it's a good movie if u want to take a girl to watch and her scream and grab your arm :D haha. Me and Benny saw John Carter, what was pretty awesome movie, pretty long though.



And on Saturday, we did some shopping and I bought this awesome jacket, what is a little weird but it's cool. I just need to fix it a little, not that it's broken I just want to make it a little bit different. It was a pretty good deal too, originally it was like 40-50 dollars but I paid only 12 dollars (: (and look that huge hoood!)




On Sunday we did some packing at our garage, it's only like 20 days and We'll be in our new house!! Yay :) And the best thing today: we did our first podcast! "Finntastic&Friends!" (I dont like the name at all, so if you guys have any suggestions for a new name...):D It was pretty funnn, even I sound Horrible(with a big H!) We'll do more podcasts later on, but you guys can start with this: Finntastis&Friends -podcast :)

Oh! And we just straightened Alexs hair! It's soooo prettyyyyy, not that she wouldn't be pretty with her curly hair, but anyway.

Weekend

On friday we went to bowling with Benny and his friend Austin, we had such a fun time! Well, all of us kinda suck in bowling, but it was still fun! and I won couple games, yay! ^^ And it was fun to be able to stay out a little bit later than usual :)

And on saturday was Fabs birthday party! Happy 18th Birthday Fabulous! ;) We had fun, even there wasn't many people. We watched movies and ate cake ;) a little bit after me, Fab and A went to hot tub to chat and listen to music, it was sooo nice. It was nice to see those guys, it's been so long time since we last time saw each other! :)




So, Fabs hostparents live on the river so we saw some dolphins! It was so cool! They came so close, we got couple pictures of them too :) And her hostfamily also just got a puppy! It's sooo cute! Everyone wanted to take her home :D I wouldn't mind to take that puppy with me, haha ;)





Oh, and today I have been in the U.S.A. 6 months! Time flies soooo fast! Only four months left this awesome experience... I'm kinda scared that it's gonna go too fast and I'm also a little bit scared to go to back to Finland... I don't feel like talking finnish anymore! :D

The Date

So, because of Valentine's Day me and Benny went out on last saturday. We had such a good time together :) First we had a dinner at Chili's and then we went to movies to see The Vow, what was kind of sad, but happy ending :)

The Vow is about this married couple, who gets into a car accident. The woman loses her memory and she can't remeber her husband anymore. The man tries everything to make her wife to remember him again. Most of the movie was so sad, because he tries and tries, but his wife just can't remeber him. But honestly I feel like watching that movie again, it was such a good movie (:

Meet the Finns

I finally got my package from my mom! It was supposed to come for my birthday, but there was some parfum in it and obviously you can't bring parfum to U.S. (duh?) Sooo, package was sent back and my parent sent it again.

I got a lot of funny stuff, my mom sent me couple finnish magazines, fuzzy dices, more finnish candy and ryebread and my grandmother sent me more candy and finnish gum :D And there was also some funny little books and cards what my mom sent :) "Meet the Finns" and "Fun Finland" those books are pretty funny stuff :D









Well, I just need to say that I'm really disapointed that we don't have any polar bears in Finland ;(

Valentine's Day

Thank god my topic if so full of imagination today :D So, It was valetine's day, if you haven't realized yet... Our school was full of huge teddybears, balloons and roses and most of people were wearing pink and red. Not only our school was crazy, last couple days been crazy in the stores, when people have been buying all that valentine's day stuff, I was also yesterday at store trying to find a card for my boyfriend and it wasn't the easiest challenge... It took like an hour to find a one card! Well I didn't want it to buy just "something-what-I-just-crabbed-from-store" -card... Sooo, I ended up with hot pink card what says "let them be jealousy" :D And inside says "It's not our fault that you are so damn adorable" and then I added all kinda stuff around it (:

My day was pretty basic day, I got couple chocolate hearts and a lollipop from my friends. Well I didn't got huge terddybear or roses, but my boyfriend(who is the sweetest guy ever) made me a rap, haha, it really made me laugh :D Thanks sweetie<3

Birthday Girl 2.0

It's time for party! Sooo, I had this little birthday party today :) Few friends came over and we had funn! We played Wii, we watched Glee<3 Haha and ate a lot of food! And my birthday cake was like best eveerr!! It was pink and it had barbie on it! And it said Happy Birthday Finn-tastic!! Yes, I turned 17, but I'm still a little bit a kid ^^






I got one gift card for movies, one for restaurant called Chili's(Like I mentioned in last post) Then I got one for Bath&Body Works, One for Old Navy aannd One for Walmart (: Thank you guys! :)

Birthday Girl

Soo, Happy Birthday me! ^^ I had like the best night eveerr. We went to had dinner in this really nice place called ChartHouse, with my hostmom and -dad and my boyfriend ^^. And I was wearing this really fancy dress and my High Heels ;) I had really good time, a big thank you to my hostparents! <3 I got some presents too ;) I got an Angry Birds Shirt(btw, Angry Birds is from Finland! If I haven't mentioned it yet :D), what says Flippin Awesome! :D And then I got some gift cards to movies and Chili's restaurant :)

Wild Child

I have to say that one of those cool things here are totally these nail polish stickers! They are genius! You just put then on and you don't even have to wait them to dry! I just love them! :D

So, these nail stcikers are Sally Hansen's Salon Effects. I like Sally Hansen other make-ups too, and they are not even expensive! Well, at least not here, but everything is cheaper here :D





They also got these Fast Dry Nail Color Pens what I got a lot on christmas, but I'm not so impressed by them. Idea is good and they kinda work but I'd say that they are just okay.
